Raised in Cornwall and London, Alex read Politics at the University of Wales before training at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. After Commissioning, he deployed on combat operations both to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Post service, Brockdorff started a roundabout film apprenticeship, splitting his time tenaciously between his actors training and behind-the-lens work in the commercials world. Since then, he has consistently appeared in a slate of films, network and streaming television dramas, and a number of award-winning short films. (Credits).

Alex is passionate about mental health and so, during the pandemic, he produced a number of short form projects focusing on mental health issues.
He is currently collaborating with film-makers on a number of feature films in various stages of production.
